Why Snapchat’s New Search Bar Is a Welcome Sign for Brands

Snapchat has ditched its variety of search bars in favor of one all-encompassing, visual search tool. While thus far the change is mainly cosmetic in nature, this new design opens the opportunity for brands and businesses to one day pay to promote their content on the page. The update is also only available to Android users for the time being, but the platform has announced plans to roll out more broadly soon.
