Foursquare Providing Location Data For Retailers

Foursquare has launched a new tool called Foursquare Analytics, which packages a company’s foot traffic data into a web dashboard with over 93 million mapped locations. The tool breaks down what times of day and how often people go to a store, and then filters the data to show how the company stacks up to competitors or industry averages. In essence, the tool lets companies get valuable, up-to-date insight into how consumers are behaving in real life.
