The future of fast food could remove the need for human employees completely. Momentum Machines, a small engineering startup in San Francisco, has developed a robot that can crank out 400 made-to-order burgers an hour. It can handle everything from slicing toppings to grilling patties and even placing the burger in a to go bag. With the help of this new technology, the creators hope to soon debut a fully-automated restaurant for the folks of San Francisco’s South of Market neighborhood.
