Starbucks Shuts Down its Online Store

While retailers invest more dollars into online purchasing, Starbucks has gone against the trend by recently taking away all capabilities to buy their products online. This means the only way that consumers can buy their favorite Starbucks products is in-store. However, fans can still purchase Starbucks coffee beans on the app or at local grocery stores. Starbucks has always been ahead of the game when it comes to digital engagement and customer loyalty. While still investing dollars to make Starbucks a must-visit destination, they will be spent more on the in-store experience.
