KFC Picked an Unknown Actor as its New “Celebrity” Colonel, for a Pretty Clever Reason

The new KFC Celebrity Colonel is unknown actor, Christopher Boyer. KFC chose a non-celebrity celebrity actor for a very clever reason; Boyer is playing the role of Value Colonel. Value Colonel was KFC’s idea to save money on a big celebrity so they can focus on “[offering] complete meals that won’t break the bank.” Coincidently, Boyer auditioned for the role of Colonel Sanders back in 2015, and has finally landed the role.
