McDonald’s Made a Big Green Rainbow Appear in Chicago Ahead of St. Patty’s Day

Every year, McDonald’s goes big for St. Patrick’s day with the seasonal Shamrock Shake. However, this year, McDonald’s took the celebration to a new level by creating a giant green rainbow to appear in Chicago’s Daley Plaza. The rainbow was meant to be a “symbol of happiness,” in the city that talks the most about their gloomy weather. At the end of the rainbow was a popup Shamrock Shake shop that gave away the treat for free.
