Amazon’s Advertising Business is Crushing the Competition

Amazon’s advertising business is still lumped into their “Other” section when it comes to revenue stream, however, this category has grown over 58% over the past year. While no match for Facebook or Google ad businesses yet, Amazon has quietly surpassed Twitter and is more than twice the size of Snap. Amazon has access to massive amounts of search and purchase data which makes product search advertisement a very valuable segment for them. With the majority of product searches shifting from Google to Amazon, Amazon’s ad business will only continue to grow.
