How Brands are Using AR to Engage Consumers and Measure Results

While companies like Facebook, Apple and Snapchat have made AR available to the masses, brands like Patrón, Ikea, MTV and Kate Spade are using AR within their apps to attract consumers. With more access to top-line data, companies can see what people are interacting with more on their apps. They use the amount of time spent, downloads and digital media interactions (like social engagement or emails opened) to measure AR success. And while brands have yet to gain serious momentum with the AR experience, they continue to gain insights to make AR a realistic marketing effort.
