Google Ran Secret Video Ad Experiments and Here’s What It Found

Google went undercover to determine the do’s and don’ts of digital advertising. Google exposed consumers to a series of videos to test the importance of factors including vertical and horizontal video, pacing and captioning. They found that most consumers had a higher view-through rate on faster paced, horizontal videos with captions. Although, some of the tests differed from desktop to mobile, these findings are step in understanding how to take advantage of this digital space.
