Is Voice Activation the Next Big Ordering Trend?

According to Global Web Index, an estimated 25% of 16-24-year-olds use voice search on their mobile devices and it is expected that this will go up to 50% by 2020. For quick service food chains this jumps out as an opportunity for voice-activated ordering. Companies like Wingstop and Domino’s have already launched voice-activated ordering through partnerships with Amazon and Google. Although there are many challenges and kinks to be worked out, ordering fast food favorites is only getting easier.
