McDonald’s same-store sales get fried

Same-store sales at McDonald’s locations in the U.S. fell 4.6% in November, amid a growing demand by younger customers for more choices.

The Oak Brook, Ill. company has been testing an option that lets customers build their own burgers on a touchscreen. McDonald’s said Monday it would increase the option at 2,000 U.S. locations.

Whataburger was also called out in a Burger Market Share Infographic in the article as having 2.7% market share.
