Pizza Hut’s New Concept Restaurant in Shanghai Has Robots on Staff

Talking robots are the new hosts of one Shanghai-based Pizza Hut. Pizza Hut introduced small friendly robots that move on wheels around the restaurant, greeting customers and showing them to their seats. Once customers are greeted, they can use a giant touchscreen to order their customized pizzas. These robots don’t yet have the capabilities to take orders or deliver food, but they’re a valuable start to a fully automated restaurant model.
