Yahoo Has an Idea For ‘smart’ Billboard That Monitors People With a Camera and Microphone

Yahoo brings a whole new meaning to “big brother is watching” with a billboard that can see and hear you. The billboard will be able to capture the sights and sounds in the area with the help of built-in cameras and microphones. Using the information it collects, the billboard will change its advertisement in real time to target the demographic that is viewing it. This project is still in its beginning stages, but has the potential to significantly expand the capabilities of a classic advertising platform.
