Snapchat Stories Will Now Reach More Eyeballs as App Opens Up Facebook and Twitter Sharing

For the first time ever, Snapchat is allowing users to share content on other platforms like Facebook and Twitter. This includes content that is public on the “Our Stories” and “Search Stories” section of the app as well as content shared by public-figures such as Kim Kardashian, which is classified by Snap as “official stories.” Right now, this does not include branded content or imagery, but that is not to say that it won’t include it in the future. Snap is hoping that this will pique the interests of other platform users that may not have the Snapchat app or don’t use it as often.
