Chipotle’s Popular Vegan ‘Sofritas’ Arrive in Austin

Chipotle’s sofritas officially arrives in Austin today. The tofu-based dish had successful tests in markets like California, New York, and Boston, and the chain is now rolling them out across the South. The company created the sofritas as a meat replacement for vegans and vegetarians, but intend them to have “crossover appeal.”
