People Across America Can Now Have What She’s Having: Katz’s Deli Launches Subscription Service

Beginning in June, the famous meats and soups Katz’s Delicatessen in New York will be available through a monthly subscription service. For five years, the company had trouble finding the right technology to support the service, but is now ready for launch just in time for its 130th anniversary. Subscription services have become more and more popular among various companies like news outlets, coffee shops and beauty companies. While the Katz’s price tag is high at $150 a month, people will pay for a premium product that “brings them back to a place in time,” said Travis York, CEO of marketing agency GYK Antler.
