Snapchat Tops Facebook and Twitter on Privacy — Here’s Why Brands Should Care

According to a Business Insider Intelligence’s 2017 Digital Trust survey, Snapchat is the most trusted app in terms of personal data protection and privacy. For brands, this has multiple implications. First, it indicates that they should be careful about where they place their ad dollars as consumers become more wary about the platforms they use. Second, its shows which platforms users feel the most at ease, and thus where they are more willing to make and participate in genuine interactions. Third, and finally, it highlights the platforms in which brands have an opportunity to connect with its consumers on a deeper, more meaningful level in the absence of security and privacy concerns.
