80% of Instagram Users Voluntarily Connect With a Brand on the Platform

At only seven years old, Instagram has proven to be a great way for brands to close the gap with consumers and connect more personally. Now that 80% of consumer/brand connections are voluntary, Instagram wants to learn how to make the shopping experience on the platform more enjoyable. This could include things like faster responses to product inquiries or easier ways to buy from the platform.
