Burger King Trolls President Trump, Plus How More Brands Are Responding to the Government Shutdown

The 2019 government shutdown is officially the longest in U.S. history and as days add up, more people’s lives are being impacted. As the shutdown continues, more brands are using their social platforms to address some of these issues (and others like the impact the shutdown is having on national parks) or just troll President Trump.
Burger King used the shutdown to call the President out on a Twitter typo, while other brands like Kraft, REI, The North Face and Sweetgreen are helping government workers stay fed and calling on others to keep America’s parks clean.
