Carl’s Jr. Used Live Ads to Sponsor a 72-Hour Livestream for Vice’s New Gaming Site

With live video on the rise, Carl’s Jr. has started experimenting with some of the industries first live advertising. To promote their new gaming site, Vice produced a 72-hour livestream featuring the gamer world’s biggest stars and live commercial breaks from the sponsor of the event, Carl’s Jr. The restaurant collaborated with Vice to entice the “young, hungry guys” of the audience and present short sketches starring their star-shaped mascot. Carl’s Jr. thinks the ads paid off big time with the millennial audience and plans to continue exploring the live advertising world.
