Chevrolet Scores With a Twitter Talk Show Tied to Soccer Sponsorship

Chevrolet, sponsor of U.K. soccer team Manchester United, has been wanting to do more with the sponsorship besides printing their logo on the players’ uniforms. In May 2017, Chevy made a unique, only-on-Twitter talk show featuring Manchester United players called the, “Everything But Football Football Show.” Fans simply have to “Retweet to Subscribe” in order to tune-in and get reminders whenever there is new content. The videos racked up 44 million impressions and earned a 100% positive-to-neutral sentiment. A huge success, this Twitter talk show reinforced the brand’s identity among passionate soccer fans and created a whole new way for brands to utilize video on Twitter.
