Facebook Increases Transparency By Updating Video and Third-Party Viewability Metrics

Facebook is shifting its focus from serving advertisements to measuring them. The company plans to expand its measurement capabilities to provide a heightened level of transparency and gain the trust of major advertisers. Marketers will now have access to more in-depth viewability stats and more precise measurements on post reach. In addition to advanced insights, Facebook is putting together a collaborative “measurement council” of brand and tech execs meant to find solutions to measurement issues.
