Facebook, Very Busy, Working On Dating Service and AR for Messenger

At the F8 developer conference earlier this week, Mark Zuckerberg delivered a keynote speech that highlighted user safety and a promise to “keep building.” New developments at Facebook include a dating service that will compete with Tinder, Bumble and all of the others. People will be connected based on interests, but there is still a lot of unclarity on how this will work. Facebook is also launching a new augmented reality feature for brands that allow users to shop products, which will compete with Snapchat’s Lens Studio.
