Ikea’s ad agency, Åkestam Holst, recently launched a clever series of digital ads called Perceptive Banners. As part of its “Where Life Happens” campaign, the ads acknowledge that banner ads are annoying and that users probably clicked on Ikea’s on accident. The campaign looks to engender goodwill among customers by offering relatable and refreshingly honest messaging.
