KFC Harnesses the Power of Snapchat

KFC enlisted the help of Michael Platco, the “Van Gogh of Snapchat,” this Thanksgiving to bring its fans a behind-the-scenes look at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Followers were able to watch his transformation into his role as Colonel Sanders and experience the parade from his perspective on the float. The brand chose to use Snapchat to promote this content in an effort to engage and remain relevant to its younger, millennial audience.
