Snap Shares Tumble As Results Disappoint

Earlier this week, it was reported that Snap Inc. missed the mark on “virtually every metric” for Q1 earnings. The app redesign failed to reignite the ever slowing user growth. While advertisers want to diversify their investments from Facebook and Google, the users on Snap just haven’t been there. Snap Chief Executive Evan Spiegel continues to defend the redesign and says that there is “a lot of work to do to optimize the new design.”
