Snapchat Launches Stories Search Tool with Potential for Advertisers

Snapchat’s latest update allows users to search for public stories by topic, creating opportunities for brands to increase their visibility by posting relevant content. The platform will use machine learning to categorize stories based on caption text, timing and other visual elements. While Snapchat isn’t offering ad slots on the feature yet, it’s only a matter of time until brands push for more chances to reach the platform’s 158 million users.
