What’s Next in the Facebook Versus Snap Arms Race?

While Snapchat has consistently introduced new products and features, it struggles to keep up with the vast scale of Facebook and its subsidiaries who can easily replicate Snap’s offerings, such as Stories. Snapchat does offer unique opportunities for brands trying to reach younger audiences, although it’s hard to compete with a platform like Instagram that boasts 700 million monthly users. Coupling that audience size with the diversity of Facebook’s platforms, such as WhatsApp, Snapchat seems to have a challenging road ahead unless a drastic change comes around.
