Wingstop and Wendy’s Got Into a Rap Battle in the Most 2017 Brand Marketing Story Imaginable

On Monday, Wingstop tweeted an emoji-filled verse to the tune of popular rap song, “Bad and Boujee.” Wendy’s, which is known for their sarcastic Twitter content, was prompted to respond. This quickly turned into a “battle” of sorts, and according to Wingstop, resulted in about 9 million impressions. While this back-and-forth was entertaining for many (and annoying for others), all battles must come to an end, with both restaurants calling a truce at the end of the workday.
