This Startup Aims to Get Snapchat Users to Actually Pay for Brands’ Geofilters

FilterPop, a startup that creates customized geofilters, has announced plans to launch a marketplace where designers can sell their geofilter ideas to brands and their fans. For an additional fee, the site also activates the chosen design within the Snapchat app, bypassing the traditional process of submission and payment on Snapchat.com. By allowing consumers to purchase and easily activate geofilters wherever they want, the feature essentially crowdsources media buying for brands.
