Wendy’s Taps Spotify Branded Moments to Catch You When You’re Hungry

Spotify’s Branded Moments allow brands to sponsor playlists on the app that coincide with specific activities and times of the day such as dinner, party, chill, workout, sleep and focus. In an effort to draw attention to its Double Stack Sandwich promotion, Wendy’s has chosen to sponsor the “dinner” moment and target audiences by overlaying its consumer data with the platform’s playlist data. The fast-food chain will then measure the campaign’s success and determine subsequent media spend by observed increases in foot traffic and sales of the Double Stack sandwich.
