Chick-fil-A Is Testing Table Call Buttons, So You Can Easily Order Round Two

According to Fox News, Chick-fil-A locations in San Antonio, TX; Denver, CO; and Indianapolis, IN, are trying in-dining “call buttons.” After placing an order, customers can push buttons to request the manager of the location, request a service, or order more food. A rep from the chicken chain confirmed to Fox that the operators of seven locations were behind the implementation of the call buttons. However, Chick-fil-A doesn’t have plans to bring the Kallpod buttons to the rest of the chain’s 2,300 locations, Fox reports.

Houston was the first city to experiment with the technology. Prior to installing the call buttons, those locations were averaging between $30 and $45 a day from guests ordering more food at their table, after placing an initial order at the counter. Per Fox, with the implementation of the Kallpods, the Houston locations have been bringing in an extra $200 to $350 per day.
