An unsuspecting freshman at the University of Wisconsin recently signed up to be a brand ambassador, only to discover that he would need to give away 43,000 packs of gum. Although the brand activation took place on campus as a way to connect people, Mentos also brought the giveaway into the digital world through Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and a microsite.
