Although Chipotle has relied on digital campaigns to win over customers in the past, their marketing approach could use some rethinking as the company struggles to overcome the E. coli outbreak that plagued the restaurant earlier this year. Since the fast casual chain is now considering traditional media options, Chipotle has begun the search for a new creative agency partner. This creative shift follows other recent marketing efforts, such as the addition of chorizo to the menu and the distribution of $20 million in catered meals to members of the Chiptopia rewards program.
