Burger King Burns Rival by Giving Away Free Nuggets to Customers Named Wendy

Just after Wendy’s announced their decision to stop serving their spicy nuggets, Burger King jumped in to try and fill the void. Fast food chains have a history of taking digs at each other, and Burger King jumped at this opportunity. Bringing even more heat to the kitchen, Burger King will give any customer named Wendy a free order of the spicy nuggets at participating locations on October 13. Burger King president, Alex Macedo, said, “There is an appetite for Spicy Chicken Nuggets,” and they will be available for three months or until supplies last.
