Burger King is (once again) Trolling McDonald’s With a Cheeky Clown-Themed Halloween Marketing Push

This time, Burger King will give a free Whopper burger to anyone dressed as a clown on Halloween night from 7 p.m. until closing at select locations. They created a spooky 90-second digital ad to spread the word and the clever tagline for the campaign is, “come as a clown, eat like a king.” Just last month, Burger King made an appearance before the credits of the movie “It” warning movie-goers to “never trust a clown.”
