Even with 6-Second Ads on the Rise, Some Brands are Creating Animated Films to Try and Stand Out

In an era where attention spans are low and six-second ads are more and more popular, it seems odd that long, animated spots are capturing the attention of viewers and cutting through the clutter. Brands like Heinz Beans, KFC and Taco Bell have released their own long-form, animated TV spots. Facebook, YouTube and other social platforms have conditioned consumers and made them more likely to watch a longer ad, making room for bigger and bolder story-telling strategies.
