McDonald’s is Turning its Golden Arches Upside Down to Make a Statement

To celebrate International Women’s Day, a McDonald’s franchise flipped their logo to form a golden “W” in Lynwood, California. The logo was also changed on all of the company’s social media accounts and 100 restaurants had special packaging, bag stuffers and uniforms. A McDonald’s spokesperson said this was the first time in the brand’s history to flip the logo, “in honor of the extraordinary accomplishments of women everywhere and especially in our restaurants.”
