Taco Bell Gears Up for Value Fight in Fast Food

In the fight for value, Taco Bell’s most recent campaign promoting their $1 menu is inspired by the Illuminati, or in this case, the Belluminati. The emphasis on value coincides with McDonald’s plans to promote their new value menu in 2018. While industry leaders say that value menu never wins, Chief Marketing Officer, Marisa Thalberg, thinks “there’s a big difference between being cheap and offering value.” The not-so-secret-society campaign theme is supposed to make all customers feel important, no matter which menu they order from.
