Impossible Burger Draws Environmentalist’s Ire

The vegetarian “Impossible Burger” is becoming available in a growing number of restaurants, including fast-food chain, White Castle. The magic ingredient in the Impossible Burger is heme, which makes the burger sizzle, smell and taste like red meat. However, because this plant-based chemical is so new, the FDA is requiring more tests of the product’s safety.
