McDonald’s, Coke, CBS do karaoke promo

I don’t stay up to watch CBS’s “The Late Late Show with James Corden” but I do get a kick out of watching his “Carpool Karaoke” videos. So where’s McD’s in all this? Selena Gomez is Corden’s latest karaoke companion, and in addition to aimlessly driving and riding a roller coaster at an amusement park, the duo stops at the drive-thru at McDonald’s to grab a little lunch (medium fries and a Coke for each). They’re just in time to get new “Sip. Share. Win.” drink cups that feature lyrics from one of 10 songs, including Gomez’s “Love You Like a Long Song,” Adweek reports. The sweepstakes runs through Aug. 1 and, the magazine reports, McDonald’s customers will be able to use the Shazam mobile music app to record their own karaoke sing-alongs.
