McDonald’s is the Latest Restaurant to Ban Plastic Straws

On Wednesday, McDonald’s announced they would begin to phase out plastic straws from all 1,300 UK locations. Joining other retailers across the UK in the plastic ban, McDonald’s will begin a trial of paper straws in some of their locations. Locations will also have plastic straws behind the counter and customers will be required to ask for them.
