McDonald’s mimics cheap takeout menus to promote its delivery service in Sweden

It’s a year since McDonald’s launched its McDelivery takeout service in Sweden, and to promote it further, the fast feeder is taking on some of its local rivals in a very direct way.
Agency Nord DDB targeted areas of Stockholm where people order the most sushi, Thai, pizza and Indian food, copied the style of local takeout flyers and made McDelivery menus in a similar format. The direct mail campaign aims to highlight that McDonald’s, too, is part of the local delivery options.
