Burger King has a new shake to go with other new, odd menu items

Burger King is issuing some new menu items to compete with other fast food restaurants, and the offerings are interesting. Mashable reported that Burger King is also offering the Extra Long Buttery Cheeseburger, which has two beef patties, lettuce and onions on a toasted hoagie bun and garlic butter sauce for dipping.

The burger is on the restaurant’s limited time 4-for-$5 menu, which looks like Burger King’s response to Wendy’s 4-for-$4 menu. In a Jan. 27 press release, Burger King announced that items like Jalapeño Chicken Fries, Oreo Irish mint shake and the Dr. Pepper shake will be available for a limited time.
