Subway looks to fix its sales slump with tech upgrades

In a bid to win back customers, Subway is introducing an updated mobile app, touch-screen ordering kiosks, digital menu boards and Wi-Fi to its low-tech restaurants. The chain follows in Panera’s footsteps, who has seen a jump in sales thanks to its technological upgrades. Subway hopes that these additions will enhance the customer experience overall while allowing for more tailored orders and increased efficiency.
