Wendy’s and Someecards Start Lunch Intervention

Interesting focus by Wendy’s on changing lunchtime routines. This is a category play that they must believe they can win.

Recent surveys reveal as many as two-thirds of workers eat at their desks—or not at all—for lunch. And a 2013 study in the American Management Journal found that employees who work through lunch feel more stress and are less productive than those who take a break.

Wendy’s is encouraging workers to change their ways with a new savory sandwich: the Ciabatta Bacon Cheeseburger.
